Senior Staff Members to Speak at Coastal Law Conference

Two senior members of E Sciences' technical staff have been selected to speak at the annual "Florida Coastal Law" conference being held June 26-27 in Miami.

Patricia Gertenbach, P.G., a licensed geologist and manager of E Sciences' Fort Lauderdale office, will be addressing the conference attendees on the new alternative lighting standards under development for the FDOT to protect sea turtle hatchlings in coastal areas. Jena Mier, a senior ecologist and manager of the Stuart office, will be speaking on recent changes regarding the status of certain threatened and endangered species.

The two-day conference is presented by CLE International and features speakers from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the South Florida Water Management District, the University of Florida and other institutions.
