E Sciences Helps to "Green Up" Orlando

As part of E Sciences' ongoing commitment to community service, employees in the firm's Orlando headquarters spent the afternoon of May 8 planting trees and cleaning the landscaping at Lake Ivanhoe Park near downtown.

E Sciences worked side-by-side with employees of the City's "Green Up Orlando" division. The crew pruned azaleas, spread pine bark and replaced dying or overgrown plants with healthier varieties that were more appropriate for the lakeside park setting.

"As a company, we have committed to taking on two major community service projects each year," said Peter Partlow, President of E Sciences. "Each fall we take on a human services project such as feeding the homeless or preparing food for distribution at the Second Harvest Food Bank. In the springtime, we like to do a project that is related to improving the environment, since that is closely tied to our mission as a company."

This corporate philosophy is also carried out by employees in the firm's Fort Lauderdale office, who recently served meals at a local homeless shelter.
