E Sciences' Professionals Speak at the Florida Chamber's 25th Annual Growth Management, Energy, Climate Change and the Environment Short Course in Daytona Beach

E Sciences' professionals participated in panel discussions at the 2009 Florida Chamber's 25th Annual Growth Management, Energy, Climate Change and the Environment Short Course in Daytona Beach. 

Mr. Partlow participated in a panel discussion entitled "Mediating Land Use Disputes." Attendees were given the chance to receive expert advice about the importance of preparation, organization and understanding Florida's growth management laws and rules. They also discussed the value of knowing the state and local government representatives, their roles and scope of authority.

 

Mr. Freedman participated in a panel discussion entitled "Federal Wetlands Permitting Update".The panel was moderated by an environmental attorney and included Mr. Freedman, two other environmental consultants and a project manager from the US Army Corps of Engineers. Attendees were given new information and clarification on new federal wetland permitting rules and multiple perspectives on the best ways to expedite the program.

 

 

Mr. Powers participated in a panel discussion entitled "Endangered and Threatened Species Update". Attendees were given an overview of endangered and threatened species. They also discussed case law updates and emerging policy issues. Perspectives from both federal and private sectors were also provided.
