H20 and Erosion Control Seminar Held at UCF

E Sciences staff members played a lead role in organizing, presenting and exhibiting at the first ever H20 and Erosion Control conference held March 15 and 16 at the University of Central Florida.

Hosted by the UCF Stormwater Academy, the conference attracted design professionals, government officials, contractors and developers from throughout the state to hear about and see the latest products and techniques for stormwater and erosion control. Robin Harrell of E Sciences led groups of attendees on a tour of a product demonstration area, where manufacturers had installed their state-of-the-art Best Management Practices (BMPs) along a drainage canal at the UCF campus.

Several E Sciences employees were on hand to attend seminars and welcome visitors to the E Sciences exhibit booth. The conference was rated as an overwhelming success by most participants, and plans are being made now for the 2008 H2O conference.
