E Sciences Acquires Ibis Environmental, Inc.

E Sciences has acquired Stuart-based environmental consulting firm Ibis Environmental, Inc., adding to the firm's presence in Southeast Florida. Ibis founder Jena Mier will remain with E Sciences as a Senior Scientist.

Ibis Environmental was formed in 2001 to provide quality environmental consulting services to clients in Florida. Ms. Mier and her staff provide a multitude of services, from pre-purchase environmental assessments to construction oversight and permit compliance. Clients have included residential and commercial real estate developers, private landowners, municipalities and government agencies. 

"We are thrilled to have Jena and her staff join the E Sciences family," said E Sciences president Peter Partlow, P.E. "Ibis has earned an excellent reputation for providing ecological services in the southeastern part of the state. This acquisition will enhance E Sciences' ability to serve our clients in Martin, Palm Beach and Indian River Counties and throughout the surrounding area."

The Stuart office has a staff of five, including four full-time ecologists. "We are so excited to be part of the E Sciences team," said Ms. Mier. "I look forward to expanding the services we provide to our existing clients and all the great opportunities we will have in the future."
