E Sciences Selected in Oviedo, Fort Lauderdale

E Sciences was recently selected to provide environmental consulting services for the Cities of Oviedo and Fort Lauderdale. Work will be performed on a continuing contract basis.

The City of Oviedo selected E Sciences for a multi-year contract to provide a wide range of ecological consulting services, including:

• Review of development plans, comprehensive plan amendments, and change of zoning requests.
• Review of environmental studies, restoration plans, and habitat managment plans.
• Review and prepare surveys for listed species.
• Preparation of special environmental studies.
• Preparation of environmental policies and standards.
• Wetland determination and habitat field analysis.
• Coordinate with environmental agencies for the City.

Fort Lauderdale selected E Sciences to provide environmental services ranging from Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments to permitting and threatened and endangered species surveys.

Both contracts are pending approval from the respective City Councils, a process which should be completed in the next few weeks.
