DAVID MAHNKEN REJOINS E SCIENCES’ ORLANDO OFFICE

E Sciences, Incorporated, is pleased to announce that David M. Mahnken has rejoined the firm’s Orlando office as a Senior Scientist in the Ecological Services group.

Mr. Mahnken rejoins the firm after a two-year tenure with the South Florida Water Management District. In his new role, Mr. Mahnken will assist clients with environmental resource permitting coordination, ecological feasibility studies, wetland functional evaluation, and the identification of threatened and endangered wildlife species.

Mr. Mahnken’s broad range of experience in all aspects of local, state, and federal environmental resource permitting include jurisdictional wetland delineations, wetland mitigation project planning and monitoring, wetland functional assessment, threatened and endangered species surveys, wildlife habitat evaluation, and benthic habitat and water quality assessment. Mr. Mahnken is also exceptionally experienced in the application of spatial and geostatistical analysis of environmental data utilizing geographic information systems (GIS) and global positioning systems (GPS).

Mr. Mahnken holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida and is currently completing work on a Master’s degree in Environmental Science with the IFAS/CALS Soil and Water Science Department specializing in environmental soil science and wetland biogeochemistry at the University of Florida.
