Municipal Tree Survey

City of Doral, Miami-Dade County, FL

E Sciences conducted a tree inventory for JC Bermudez Park and Doral Meadow Park in the City of Doral.  Work included using GPS technology to provide location, size, hazard and remedial maintenance requirements for all trees within these two parks.  E Sciences provided the inventory to the City in ArcGIS (digital) database format which included location files for surveyed features, a metadata file explaining the source of the data and a database file (viewable in MS Excel) that listed the data records. E Sciences will provided 11” by 17” maps for each park showing the locations of trees overlain on an aerial photograph.

Arboriculture Services

Municipal Arborist

City of Doral, Miami-Dade County, FL

E Sciences is providing landscape consultant support through a continuing services contract with the City. E Sciences’ services cover a broad spectrum, including reviewing landscape plans on behalf of the City that have been submitted in support of proposed developments, reviewing and authorizing tree removal permits as the City Arborist, inspecting landscape planting for bond release and providing support to the Code Compliance Department for violations of the City’s landscape ordinance.  In addition to the above ongoing services, E Sciences also acquired (and is performing the services for) a $10,000 grant from the State of Florida to the City for revising the landscape code and producing a technical manual and website to assist with implementation of the code and increased efficiency in plan and permit application review.
