Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agent

E Sciences' Doug Powers recently recieved notification from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission approving his application to act as an Authorized Gopher Tortoise Agent in the State of Florida.  This authorization allows Doug to provide gopher tortoise services including survey, relocation, reciepient site assessments, and habitat management plans under the new Gopher Tortoise regulations. 

Doug is the first of our ecological staff to receive the authorization and we hope to add more E Sciences staff to this list.  This is a great accomplishment for Doug as there are less than a dozen authorized agents in Central Florida. Congratulations to Doug on this acheivement!
